MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER
Hi, I’m Dan Wimble, a full-time photographer. I have been told on occasion that I take nice pictures.
In a past life, I was a linguist for the Navy. Before that, I worked in conservation. The day that got me here was a sunny Saturday while I was a “plus-one” at a wedding. I desperately wanted to document everything happening around me, but they had a professional hired, so I had to behave.
I’m also told I’m a workaholic (I’m not, by the way); it’s just that this ‘work’ feels like play to me and I dearly love that days out of the office are wedding days.
Outside of weddings I guess I’ve become a family man. I’m a father to two young children, both August babies—ironically, the busiest month for any wedding photographer. And apparently I’m fussy with what I watch on TV but have been known to enjoy a bit of The Traitors. (Shame on you, Alan!)
If you’ve made it this far and think we’d get on, drop me a message.
