Eliza and Dan’s wedding in Devon

Eliza and Dan’s wedding at Deer Park Country House in Devon was a day spent largely outside. They married in the Italian Garden, with guests seated beside the thatched summer house, then celebrated around the house and gardens. There were pale blue flowers, lemons on the place settings and tables laid beneath the trees.

The photographs follow Eliza getting ready, Dan with his friends and the outdoor ceremony, where guests held paper fans in the sunshine. After the vows came confetti beneath the leafy archway, drinks on the steps and hugs with family. The wedding breakfast continued outside, with speeches and guests gathered around the garden tables.

For their portraits, Eliza and Dan used the doorway of the house, the garden paths and the lawn. A dog joined them for part of the walk, too. The gallery ends with friends on the steps and the two of them outside after dark, still in their wedding clothes, with sunglasses making a late appearance.
